VERTICES MEDIA MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE NOW AVAILABLE THROUGH RESELLERS
NEEDHAM, Mass. - Jan. 24, 2000 -- B&L Associates, Inc., a leading provider of computer media management solutions, today announced that Vertices®, its comprehensive, enterprise-wide removable media management system, is now being sold through Value Added Resellers (VARs). The company has developed a channel program and is seeking qualified partners to sell Vertices and software add-ons, such as Batch Scanning and Automation Modules.
Since Vertices picks up where on-line storage management systems leave off, the Microsoft Windows NT software package is an ideal high margin add-on sale to server and network installations. Vertices tracks removable physical media such as magnetic tape, disk, CD-ROM, Digital Linear Tape (DLT), and other media. It is well-suited for tracking data center media as well as for keeping track of PC and workstation media and licensed software. Vertices manages media from any source, including Microsoft Windows, Windows NT, Windows 2000 and UNIX, as well as from traditional mainframe environments, such as IBM and Unisys. It is easy for VARs to set up and customize for virtually any enterprise storage application.
