BakBone Software Announces NetVault Vertices Media Management Solution

Vertices Now Available for Windows 2003
B&L Associates Inc., a leader in open systems media management software, announced the availability of the Vertices® tape management system for Microsoft Windows 2003 users. The new version of Vertices, which can be hosted on any Windows 2003 Professional, Server or Advanced Server platform, controls the movement, management and retrieval of removable tapes and other media from any source, including legacy Windows platforms, UNIX, Linux and mainframe systems.

Syncsort's Backup Express Integration with Vertices Certified by B&L Associates, Inc.
The integration of Backup Express, the enterprise backup and restore product from Syncsort Incorporated, with Vertices®, the comprehensive media management tool for open systems' removable media, has been certified by B&L. The new interface allows Backup Express to easily share information with Vertices. Customers will now be able to ensure accurate logging of all their media and detailed tracking of all their data during backup.
